This is a small coastal town only 45 minutes from Cabo san Lucas you will admire the contrast between the Pacific Ocen and the desert, once in Todos Santos you can visit The Mission that was founded by the Jesuits in 1723. This Mission contains the statue of The Virgin Del Pilar, wich is the focus of Todos Santos main festival in October. Handicraft shops, owner-operated art galleries featuring landscape paintings of local scenes, boutique hotels and restored colonial buildings have contributeddevelopment of the town. The Hotel California is a favorite stop here because the name association with the song made famous by “the Eagles”, even though the song does not epecifically references this particular hotel, nor any other existing hotel.
